Sales Associate Job Description:

CloudPointe is looking for a sales associate with experience in any of the following areas: document management, cloud computing and SaaS.

The primary responsibility will be to prospect, conduct technical demonstrations, presentations, and close sales deals.

This position is full time and requires eligibility to work in the United States; position is not eligible for employer sponsorship.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers
  • Prioritize key accounts and set activity against targets. Focus on standardization and new use type opportunities to grow accounts and create differentiators
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day activity in assigned accounts. Duties include:
  • Monitoring and follow up on all current and prospective deals
  • Facilitate introductions to new prospective clients
  • Communicate issues and suggestions to Product Marketing, and Customer Service
  • Manage the contract and approval process on new assignments
  • Assist training of new users within our client base
  • Coordinate sell-through opportunities with other Sales Reps as appropriate
  • Conduct weekly forecast calls with your Sales Manager to monitor target opportunities and to measure activity performance
  • Manage all information in our CRM system related to the account(s). This includes clients contacts, clients feedback, demo?s and meetings and new contacts
  • Ensure IT and Business Management support contacts are properly availed of new release functionality
  • Provide contacts to Product Marketing for development planning discussions
  • Work to source media, press releases and case study opportunities

Able to network to and work with Corporate Development Teams Members, GC?s, and CFO?s.

  • Be able to sell a total deal solutions that realize standardization and subscription sales

Responsibilities:

Recruit, manage and grow revenue from corporate accounts and software resellers. Responsible for extensive telephone communication with resellers and corporate accounts to foster relationships that promote revenue growth in products and services for CloudPointe. Manage the sales cycle for both outbound and inbound opportunities and convert them into revenue. Generate new opportunities with outbound calls from sources discovered independently as well those provided by management. Use company-provided business systems to produce call reports of daily activity (success, rejections) and generates reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts for management, marketing, and product management. Provide a steady flow of feedback to management, marketing, and product management.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of success in technical sales, software sales preferred.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in enterprise software sales
  • Enterprise Software Sales experience a benefit, SaaS offering experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Conceptual and working knowledge of software engineering, software development, operating systems, files systems, and data communication
  • Knowledge of corporate applications
  • Ability to effectively plan, set priorities, and work as part of a project team on several complex projects simultaneously, while working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to research information, analyze data and prototype solutions to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills to effectively address all levels within the organization
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in dealing with matters of significance for the company
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency
  • Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to travel about 10% of the time
